Men's Golf Opens 2023-24 At Howard/USF Intercollegiate

The defending Ivy League champions open the fall portion of their 2023-24 season as Princeton heads to San Francisco and TPC Harding Park for the Howard/USF Intercollegiate September 18-19.

Connor Belcastro, Riccardo Fantinelli, Jackson Fretty, William Huang, Charlie Palmer and Jackson Parrish will be in the team lineup for the Tigers while Charlie Farrell and Jeremy Yun will be competing as individuals. For Farrell and Palmer, the tournament is their collegiate debuts.

Fantinelli returns for his sophomore season after winning the Ivy League's individual championship last April. He is joined by Jackson Fretty (3rd) and William Huang (T-4th) as Tigers who finished in the top five at last year's Ivy Championship and return for Princeton in 2023-24.

"We're excited to get our season going, there's a lot of golf coming up for the group this fall," said head coach Will Green. "This is a great chance for us to compete against some of the top teams in the West and bond as team as we make the trip to San Francisco. We're looking forward to the challenge and the competition."

The tournament is a 54-hole event, with 36 holes played on September 18 and the final round to be held on the 19th. Each day will feature a shotgun start, Monday's is set for 8:30 a.m. PST and Tuesday will be at 8:00 a.m. PST.

TPC Harding Park is a championship-level course which has previously hosted the 2009 Presidents Cup as well as the 2020 PGA Championship which was won by Collin Morikawa.
