PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton wrestling team is set to compete at the 2024 Franklin and Marshall Open on January 5th at the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
In the 2023 Tournament, Princeton secured second and earned a total of 160.5 points. Notably, Princeton boasts the highest number of wrestling champions in the history of the Franklin and Marshall Open, with a count of 9 champions.
The most recent Tiger on the roster to take a first-place finish at the tournament is Sean Pierson, who emerged victorious in the 125-pound category in 2020, defeating Geo Barzona from Bucknell. Additionally, in the 2023 competition, both Danny Coles and Grant Cuomo took second place in their respective weight classes.
