No. 3 Princeton Set to Resume Season Sunday at Amherst

A visit to No. 13 Amherst is up next for the No. 3-ranked Princeton women's squash team as the 2-0 Tigers get set to resume their season after the break for the holidays and first-semester finals.

The match will be Princeton's first since Dec. 2, a 9-0 win over Amherst's rival Williams.
The 5-4 Mammoths will have an Ivy League weekend, hosting Dartmouth on Saturday after a 2-1 restart to the season last weekend with wins over No. 20 Dickinson, 7-2, and No. 23 Franklin & Marshall, 9-0, and a 5-4 loss to No. 15 Georgetown.
Princeton is 10-0 all-time against Amherst, and the teams last met on Nov. 30, 2018 at Amherst in a 9-0 Tiger win.
Princeton's first two wins of the season came over No. 4 Stanford, 6-3, and then the Williams win. Princeton had rookie Zeina Zein at the top spot in both, with Zein getting the win in each match, while fellow rookie Emma Trauber is also 2-0, along with Liyen Teoh, Katherine Glaser, India Stephenson and Katherine Sapinski.
Following the Amherst match, Princeton will head to No. 8 Drexel on Jan. 16 before beginning Ivy League play by hosting No. 10 Columbia on Jan. 19.
