Yeager Again Named Ivy Offensive Player Of The Week
October 07, 2024 | Field Hockey
The Princeton field hockey team scored four goals in two games this weekend. Beth Yeager had two goals and two assists.
Not surprisingly, it was a performance that earned her another Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week Award.
Yeager began the weekend with a goal and two perfect assists in a 3-1 Ivy win over Cornell Friday. She then scored Princeton's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Syracuse Sunday.
Princeton is 6-4 overall and 3-0 in the Ivy League, tied with Harvard as the only two unbeatens in the league. The Tigers, who have been home for only two of their first 10 games, now finish the regular season with five of their last six on Bedford Field, beginning this weekend against Brown (Friday at 4) and Delaware (Sunday at 1).
