PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's volleyball team wrap up regular season play against Dartmouth on Nov. 15 in Hanover, New Hampshire, and Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Nov. 16.

Ivy Tournament Clinched
The Tigers' victory over Cornell on Nov. 8 clinched Princeton a spot in the Ivy League Tournament, which will be hosted by the No. 1 seed. The Tigers have now made the Ivy League Tournament in each three years of its existence.

Milestone Moment
Head Coach Sabrina King earned her 200th career victory at Columbia on Oct. 19.

The Sabrina King File
King, is in her 13th season as head coach at Princeton. She has guided the Tigers to five Ivy League titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and has been named Ivy Coach of the Year three times. Throughout her tenure as head coach, King has coached four Ivy League Players of the Year and 44 All-Ivy honorees. A member of the Class of 2001 at Princeton, she won three Ivy titles as a player, was the 1999 Ivy Player of the Year and was a three-time All-Ivy selection.

The Tigers rank 21st in the nation in hitting percentage (.275).

Chaney's Strong Start To 2024
Sophomore Kamryn Chaney has gotten off to a strong start in 2024 as she leads the Ivy League in points-per-set (5.12), kills (4.35), ranking 16th and 26th nationally. Chaney also leads the Ivy League in service aces (37) and ranks second in service aces-per-set (0.45).

A Historic Performance By Chaney
Chaney delivered a historic performance against High Point on Sept. 21. She recorded 34 kills, 15 assists, two blocks and one service ace. Chaney's 34 kills were the most by an Ivy League player since Oct. 11, 2014, when Penn's Maddie Lord had 23 against Brown. According to available records, her 34 kills are tied for the second-most kills in a match by an Ivy League player. Only Ashley Dean of Dartmouth has had more, when she had 35 against Harvard on Oct. 21, 2000.

One Of The Nation's Elite Hitters
Chaney's 34 kills against High Point on Sept. 21 are the fourth-most kills in a five-set match by any player in 2024.

A Three-Time Ivy Player Of The Week
Chaney was honored as Ivy Player of the Week on Nov. 4. She averaged 4.89 kills-per-set (44 total kills), 2.67 digs-per-set (24 total digs) and had seven service aces and three blocks. Chaney tallied 25 kills on a .532 hitting percentage with 0 errors, 13 digs and two service aces against Yale. Against the Bears she recorded 19 kills, 11 digs and five service aces. Chaney was also named Ivy League Player of the Week on Oct. 21 and Sept. 16.

Weekly Awards Sweep
Princeton swept the Ivy League's weekly awards on Oct. 14, with junior Lucia Scalamandre being named Player of the Week and freshman Jackie Onyechi Rookie of the Week.

Scalamandre averaged 3.14 kills-per-set (22 total kills) on a .390 hitting percentage, 1.14 blocks-per-set (eight total blocks) and had seven digs and one service ace. Against the Big Green, she hit .320 and had 13 kills, six digs, one block and one service ace. Against the Crimson, Scalamandre hit .500 and had nine kills, seven blocks and one dig.

Onyechi averaged 2.43 kills-per-set (17 total kills) on a .536 hitting percentage, 1.57 blocks-per-set (11 total blocks) and had two digs. Against Dartmouth, Onyechi hit .632 and had 13 kills, six blocks and two digs. Against Harvard, Onyechi hit .333 and had four kills, five blocks.

An Active Career Leader
Scalamandre ranks No. 4 in NCAA DI in active career leaders in hitting percentage (.383).

Scalamandre's Impact
Scalamandre, a two-time All-Ivy honoree and the 2022 Ivy Rookie of the Year, ranks fourth in the conference 35th in the nation in hitting percentage (.362), seventh in blocks-per-set (1.03) and ninth in points-per-set (3.27).

Onyechi Off To A Strong Start
Onyechi ranks sixth in the Ivy League in blocks-per-set (1.025.

Assist Leader
Sophomore Sydney Draper, the 2023 Ivy League Rookie of the Year, ranks third in the Ivy League in assists-per-set (9.55).

One Of The Ivy League's Top Defensive Players
Sophomore Sydney Bold ranks fourth in the Ivy League in digs-per-set (3.28).

Villanova Classic All-Tournament Team
Sophomore duo Bold and Erin McNair were named to the Villanova Classic All-Tournament Team.

Bold recorded 36 digs, 21 assists and three service aces in the Tigers' three matches. She had her first career double-double against Loyola with 18 digs and a career-high 10 assists to go with two service aces. Bold also tallied 11 digs, six assists and one service ace against Villanova. Additionally, she finished with seven digs and five assists against the Monarchs.

McNair totaled 31 kills, 21 digs, three blocks and two service aces. Against the Greyhounds she recorded a career-high 15 kills, five digs, and one block while she tallied 10 digs, eight kills and two service aces against ODU. Against Villanova, McNair had eight kills, six digs and two blocks.

Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green are 10-12 and 3-9 in conference play. In its most recent match, Dartmouth fell to Brown in Providence, Rhode Island, 3-2 (18-25, 25-23, 25-16, 20-25, 15-9) on Nov. 9. The last time Princeton faced the Big Green, the Tigers emerged victorious with a score of 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 16-25, 25-17) on Oct. 12 inside Dillon Gymnasium,

Scouting Harvard
The Crimson are 10-11 overall and 5-7 in Ivy play in 2024. Most recently, Harvard fell to Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, on Nov. 9, 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-22). Last time the Tigers faced Harvard, Princeton prevailed, 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 27-25), on Oct. 11 inside Dillon Gymnasium.
