November 15, 2024 | Men's Cross Country
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. – Led by Myles Hogan, the Princeton men's cross country team took second place at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals. With a score of 80, the Tigers now qualify for the NCAA Championships.
"What great races today from the Naval academy and Georgetown the three of us separated by a single point over a 30 minute race is just remark I'm so proud of our men for digging deep and racing with toughness over the latter part of the course. We will now turn our focus to the NCAA champs where we will represent Princeton with all we've got." - Head Coach Jason Vigilante
Hogan was the top finisher for the Tigers, claiming seventh place overall with a time of 29:42.8.
Nicholas Bendtsen crossed the line next, finishing in 10th place with a time of 29:50.3. Jackson Shorten kicked out five runners in his final kick to take the 14th spot with a mark of 29:57.2.
Harrison Witt clocked in at 30:17.1 to take 22nd place while Connor McCormick, the final Tiger scorer, finished with a time of 30:21.6 for 27th overall.
Weston Brown and Collin Boler were pushers for Princeton, claiming 33rd and 34th place respectively with times of 30:40.4 and 30:43.4.
