PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 1 seed Princeton University women's volleyball team will face No. 4 seed Brown in the Ivy League Tournament semifinal on Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. inside Dillon Gymnasium.
Championship Tradition
The Tigers won their 20th Ivy League title in program history in 2024, finishing Ivy play with a 12-2 record. Princeton shared the championship with Yale, who also had a 12-2 record.
No. 1 Seed & Hosting Rights
Princeton earned the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the Ivy Tournament due to a 2-0 record against Cornell, compared to Yale's 1-1 record. The Big Red were the highest team outside the tie.
Tournament Bracket
No. 2 seed Yale will face No. 4 seed Cornell at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22, then the final will take place on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m.
Ivy Tournament Clinched
The Tigers' victory over Cornell on Nov. 8 clinched Princeton a spot in the Ivy League Tournament, which will be hosted by the No. 1 seed. The Tigers have now made the Ivy League Tournament in each three years of its existence.
Season Series Against Brown
Princeton earned a season sweep against the Bears, defeating them 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-23) on Oct. 10 inside Dillon Gymnasium and 3-2 (25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 15-25, 15-9) on Nov. 3 at the Pizzitola Sports Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Season Series Against Yale
The Tigers split the season series against the Bulldogs, falling inside Dillon Gymnasium on Oct. 5, 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 25-16, 28-26), before bouncing back with a 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18) triumph in New Haven, Connecticut, on Nov. 1.
Season Series Against Cornell
Princeton swept the season series with the Big Red, first earning a 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19) victory in Ithaca, New York, on Oct. 19 then a 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-20) sweep inside Dillon Gymnasium on Nov. 8.

Head Coach Sabrina King earned her 200th career victory at Columbia on Oct. 19.

King is in her 13th season as head coach at Princeton. She has guided the Tigers to five Ivy League titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and has been named Ivy Coach of the Year three times. Throughout her tenure as head coach, King has coached four Ivy League Players of the Year and 44 All-Ivy honorees. A member of the Class of 2001 at Princeton, she won three Ivy titles as a player, was the 1999 Ivy Player of the Year and was a three-time All-Ivy selection.

Chaney's Dominant 2024
Sophomore Kamryn Chaney has had a dominant 2024 as she leads the Ivy League in points-per-set (5.15) and kills (4.40), ranking 17th and 24th nationally. Chaney also ranks second the Ivy League in service aces (41) and ranks third in service aces-per-set (0.42).
A Historic Performance By Chaney
Chaney delivered a historic performance against High Point on Sept. 21. She recorded 34 kills, 15 assists, two blocks and one service ace. Chaney's 34 kills were the most by an Ivy League player since Oct. 11, 2014, when Penn's Maddie Lord had 23 against Brown. According to available records, her 34 kills are tied for the second-most kills in a match by an Ivy League player. Only Ashley Dean of Dartmouth has had more, when she had 35 against Harvard on Oct. 21, 2000.

Chaney's 34 kills against High Point on Sept. 21 are the eighth-most kills in a five-set match by any player in 2024.
A Four-Time Ivy Player Of The Week
Chaney was honored as Ivy Player of the Week on Nov. 18 for the fourth time in 2024. She averaged 5.0 kills-per-set (35 total kills) with a .351 hitting percentage along with 3.0 digs (21 total) digs and six blocks. She recorded the first of her two double-doubles against Dartmouth with 15 kills, hitting .344, and 11 digs and two blocks. Chaney followed with 20 kills on a .357 hitting percentage along with 10 digs and four blocks against the Crimson.

Scalamandre ranks No. 4 in NCAA DI in active career leaders in hitting percentage (.384).

Scalamandre, a two-time All-Ivy honoree and the 2022 Ivy Rookie of the Year, ranks fifth in the conference and 35th in the nation in hitting percentage (.367), sixth in the Ivy League in blocks-per-set (1.05) and ninth in points-per-set (3.25).

Jackie Onyechi leads the Ivy League in hitting percentage (.419) and ranks second in blocks-per-set (1.14.)

Sophomore Sydney Bold ranks fourth in the Ivy League in digs-per-set (3.23).
Villanova Classic All-Tournament Team
Sophomore duo Bold and Erin McNair were named to the Villanova Classic All-Tournament Team.
Bold recorded 36 digs, 21 assists and three service aces in the Tigers' three matches. She had her first career double-double against Loyola with 18 digs and a career-high 10 assists to go with two service aces. Bold also tallied 11 digs, six assists and one service ace against Villanova. Additionally, she finished with seven digs and five assists against the Monarchs.
McNair totaled 31 kills, 21 digs, three blocks and two service aces. Against the Greyhounds she recorded a career-high 15 kills, five digs, and one block while she tallied 10 digs, eight kills and two service aces against ODU. Against Villanova, McNair had eight kills, six digs and two blocks.
