PRINCETON, N.J. – Seeking a share of the Ivy League title and the chance to host the Ivy tournament next week, the Princeton men's soccer team will take on the no. 12 Penn Quakers on Saturday afternoon in its final regular season game. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Roberts Stadium.

About the Tigers
- Princeton most recently defeated Dartmouth 2-1 on the road in New Hampshire on Saturday night, with Nico Nee scoring both goals for the Tigers to deliver them their fifth Ivy win of the season and keep them at second place in the table.
- Nee's goals were his second and third of the season, and the first brace of his career, earning him a nod on the Ivy weekly honor roll.
- Before that, Princeton defeated Seton Hall 5-2 lasy week in its non-conference finale. Four Tigers scored in the match, including Harry Roberts, Daniel Ittycheria, Garry Zhang and Issa Mudashiru, who got a brace.
- Following their fourth Ivy win against Yale on October 26th, in which a free kick goal by Jack Jasinski secured the 1-0 Princeton victory, the Tigers clinched a spot in the 2024 Ivy League Championship tournament. The berth will be the program's first after the inaugural tournament last year.
- Daniel Ittycheria leads the Tiger offense with six goals on the season and one assist for 13 points. He is also third in the Ivy League in both shots and shots on goal, averaging 3.53 and 1.53, respectively.
- Jasinski is behind him with one goal and six assists for eight points on the season, leading the Tigers in assists.
- Kevin Kelley, Will Francis and Nee have three goals apiece this season, as 11 Tigers have scored this season.
- Senior captain Khamari Hadaway has taken the majority of matches in goal for Princeton, registering 19 saves and one shutout across seven games.
- Sophomore Andrew Samuels has seen action in six games, recording two shutouts and 16 saves on the season for a 0.70 GAA.
- Three different goalkeepers have earned shutouts for Princeton this season, including Samuels, Hadaway and fellow senior Will Watson.
- The Tiger defense has a goals-allowed average of just 1.13, the third-best in the Ivy League.
- Princeton is now just one of four teams in the country to have zero draws on the season, and the only one in the Ivy League.
- The Tigers are ranked 10th nationally and first in the Ivy League in corner kicks, registering an average of 6.53 per game.
About the New Tigers
- The Tigers' Class of 2028 was ranked the no. 13 recruiting class by TopDrawerSoccer, including Cyrus Klinenberg (No. 77), Kristian Kelley (No. 82), Roka Tsunehara (No. 113), Dash Papez (No. 116), and Nathan Salerno.
- The Tiger newcomers are making significant contributions to the Orange and Black's success. Tsunehara has been a mainstay in the Tiger starting XI, while freshmen Kelley has two starts to his credit after seeing action in eight games.
- A pair of new Tigers hail from the D.C. United academy system in Papez and Zhang. Papez has three starts and an assist on the season across four matches this season so far, while Zhang has also notched one start and a goal, seeing action in six games. The two led their team to win the U16 MLS Next Cup Playoffs while making deep runs in both his U15 and U17 years in 2023.
- Tsunehara was named to the TopDrawerSoccer preseason All-Freshman team on August 20. The Burlingame, Calif., native was the 2022 MLS Next U16 National MVP. He was also a leading scorer for the San Jose Earthquakes U17 team as they reached the semifinals of the MLS Next cup in 2023.
- Freshman goalkeeper Salerno comes to Princeton after playing with the Columbus Crew II and helping secure key victories in the MLS Next Pro playoffs.

- Penn was ranked 12th in the latest United Soccer Coaches national poll with a record of 12-2-1 overall and a 6-0 record in the Ivy League.
- Some of Penn's notable wins this season include a season-opening 1-0 victory against no. 3 Pitt, a 3-1 win over no. 21 Hofstra in October, and a 3-2 Ivy win against no. 16 Cornell.
- Most recently, Penn captured a 1-0 victory over Yale on Saturday on the road in New Haven. Connor Dawson scored the lone goal for the Quakers.
- Stas Korzeniowski leads the Quakers with 11 goals and two assists for 24 points on the season. Patrick Cayelli is behind him, leading the Quakers in assists with nine, combining with his two goals for 13 points.
- Philip Falcon III has been solid in goal for Penn, registering 39 saves and eight shutouts across 15 matches for a 0.73 GAA.
- Princeton is 9-5-3 all-time against Penn and 4-2-2 at home. The last two contests went to the Quakers, with the most recent matchup being a 4-1 Penn victory in Philadelphia. Francis and Whitchurch assisted the lone Tiger goal.
