PRINCETON, NJÂ - The Princeton men's track and field team is gearing up to host the Princeton Invitational on Sunday, February 18th in Jadwin Gymnasium. The meet will serve as the Tiger's final test before making the trip up to Cambridge Massachusets next week for the 2024 Ivy Indoor Heptagonal Track and Field Championships.

Meet Notes
- At last week's Tiger Paw Invitational, in the men's 200m, three freshman made their mark on the Princeton indoor all-time list. Jackson Clarke claimed the 3rd position with a time of 21.09, Zach Della Rocca secured the 4th spot with 21.23, and Xavier Donaldson earned the 5th place with a time of 21.26. Also, freshman Xavier Donaldson broke into the Princeton indoor all-time list in the 400m. Donaldson went 47.64 for an 8th all-time position.
- Over the weekend, Joey Avallone clinched the top spot in the pole vault event at the Giegengack Invitational by clearing 4.45 meters (14 feet 7.25 inches) at the Giegengack Invitational.
- At the Scarlet Knight Open, Tyler Konopka stole the spotlight in the shot put event, jumping into the 10th all-time at Princeton and achieving a personal best with a throw of 17.92m (58-9.50)
- In a competitive 3000m run at the Scarlet Knight Open, Camren Fischer secured a first-place finish, crossing the finish line with an impressive time of 8:09.65
- At the Penn State National Open, the Princeton A 4x400 team captured a first place time of 3:09.90 which ranks second all-time in the Princeton record book. The team consisted of Xavier Donaldson, Jackson Clarke, Zach Della Rocca, and Anderson Dimon.
- At the Penn State National Open Tyler Konopka emerged as a dominant force in the men's shot put, securing a first-place finish with a throw of 17.86m (58-7.25). This earned him the top spot in the event and puts him at the 10th position in the all-time record book
- Easton Tan ran a 7.98 in the 60m hurdles at Penn State, securing a top-three finish and landing a spot in the top 10 all-time list, sharing the seventh position for the Tigers.Â
- After his impressive 60-1.75/18.33 throw at last year's TCNJ Open, Joe Licata currently holds the 15th position in the NCAA Division I Qualifying List, stands first in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and is also leading in the Ivy League for shot put this season. This distance secured Licata the sixth place spot on Princeton's top-ten record book.
- At the Navy Dual, Zach Della Rocca clocked 21.44 in the 200 meter run, securing the 39th spot in the in the NCAA Division I Qualifying List and the freshman, Jackson Clarke, recorded a time of 21.18 to take the 13th spot. Della Rocca currently ranks fourth in the Ivy League with Clarke taking the 1st place position.
- Paul Brennan holds third place in the Ivy League standings in the weight throw off of his throw (63-7.75/19.40) at the TCNJ Open.
- Princeton's 4x400 relay team of Donaldson, Della Rocca, Clarke, and Miller ranks second in the Ivy League with a current best time of 3:16.12 at the Joe Handelman Invite.
- Greg Foster ranks first in the Ivy League and second in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.92s posted at the TCNJ Open.
- In the 5000m, Nicholas Bendtsen holds the first ranked spot in the Ivy Leagues and second in the Mid-Atlantic Region with this season's best time at 13:46.65. He also achieved the impressive milestone of breaking the 4-minute barrier with a time of 3:59.22.Bendtsen is a 2023 Cross Country All-American.
- Xavier Donaldson recorded a time of 48.24 in the 400m at the Navy Dual. This time puts him 37th in the nation right now.
- Samuel Rodman ranks first in the Ivy League in the 500m with a time of 1:03.35 posted at the Navy Dual.
