No. 3 Princeton Set to Begin CSA Team Championships This Weekend in Philadelphia

Seeded third in the Howe Cup tournament, the Princeton women's squash team will begin its pursuit of a CSA team title on Friday, a day after the teams competing in the round of 16 get the event going on Thursday at the Specter Squash Center at Drexel in Philadelphia.

No. 3 Princeton will meet No. 6 Stanford in a 3 p.m. quarterfinal on Friday. The Tigers were 6-3 winners over Stanford in the season opener on Nov. 19.
With a win, the Tigers would play a Saturday semifinal against No. 2 Harvard or No. 7 Virginia. On the other side of the bracket are No. 1 Trinity, No. 4 Penn, No. 5 Yale, No. 8 Cornell, No. 9 Columbia and No. 12 Tufts.
All women's matches will start at 3 p.m. each day with Sunday's matches beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Since the program's last Howe Cup title in 2009, the team has finished fifth or better every year, aside from the canceled 2021 event, with a high finish of second in 2020. Princeton finished fifth in 2022 and third in 2023.
Princeton enters the event with its usual top three of Zeina Zein, Liyen Teoh and Emma Trauber having earned All-Ivy League honors this season. Following the CSA team event, the CSA individual event beginning March 8 back in Philadelphia.
