Baseball Takes On Yale This Weekend at Clarke Field

PRINCETON – The Princeton Baseball Team continues its Ivy League homestand with a three-game set with the Yale Bulldogs at Clarke Field.
The Saturday doubleheader will begin at 11:30 a.m., while Sunday's single game starts at 12 p.m.
Princeton took two out of three from the Cornell Big Red last weekend, earning two 4-3 victories last Saturday. In game one, Caden Shapiro had a walk-off walk while game two featured a game-winning knock from Jordan Kelly in the eighth inning.
Jake Koonin (.308) and Jake Koonin (.304) are hitting over .300 for the Tigers. Koonin leads the team in slugging (.536) and RBI (23) while Bold's 20 walks and .470 on-base percentage paces head coach Scott Bradley's unit.
Kyle Vinci has four home runs which is tops on the team. He is currently tied with Matthew Evans '99 for the most career home runs in Princeton history (26).
Andrew D'Alessio has been outstanding out of the bullpen for Princeton, producing a 2.04 ERA in 17 2/3 innings. Jacob Faulkner had two saves and 4.01 ERA in nine outings. Justin Kim has been the best starter for Scott Bradley's group, have gone six innings in each of his last starts, adding a 5.40 ERA.
Yale is 5-13 in 2024 with victories over Towson, UMBC, Quinnipiac, Dartmouth and Saint Peter's. Davis Hanson has a team-best .879 OPS, three home runs and 11 RBI. Reid Easterly has 2.94 ERA in 33 2/3 frames.
