No. 2 Heavies Sweep Races At Lake Carnegie To Start 2024

PRINCETON – The No. 2 Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team swept the day on Lake Carnegie in its season opener against Drexel, Georgetown and Temple.
"I am pleased with the way our whole team raced this morning," said Princeton head coach Greg Hughes. The first race of the season is always a big one to get under your belt especially for our freshman. We've learned a lot today and we've got some great things to work on over the next week as we prepare for the Navy-Princeton Cup next weekend."
The 1V (5:43.0) collected a 17.2-second decision over Drexel (6:00.2) while Georgetown was right behind the Dragons at 6:00.5. Temple was fourth at 6:15.2.
