PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton wrestling squad is headed to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania this weekend for the 2024 EIWA Championships hosted by Bucknell University. FloWrestling will offer live stats, brackets, and streaming coverage.
Princeton concluded the regular season with a 6-7 overall record, including a 3-2 standing in the Ivy League. Their last dual meet saw them triumph over Bucknell at home, 18-15.
Princeton at the EIWAs
Princeton won its last EIWA title in 1978, its third all-time (1941, 1911). Its best finish since 1978 is third, achieved in 2022 as well as in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
EIWA Individual Champions
Princeton has won 62 EIWA individual titles between 43 wrestlers. Two recent Tiger graduates won individual EIWA titles with Patrick Glory, at 125 in 2019, 2020 and 2023 and current assistant coach Quincy Monday, at 157 in 2022.
Since 1999, when the current NCAA weight classes were put into place, Princeton has had champions at 125 (Glory, 2019, 2020 and 2022), 141 (Matthew Kolodzik, 2017), 149 (Jordan Laster, 2017, and Kolodzik, 2018 and 2020), 157 (Monday, 2022), 174 (Greg Parker, 2002), 184 (Greg Parker, 2003), and 197 (Brett Harner, 2016 and Patrick Brucki, 2019).
