REDWOODS CITY, Calif. – The No. 1 Princeton Women's Lightweight Rowing corralled the Class of 2015 Cup with a victory over the No. 4 Stanford Cardinal.

The 2X started the racing with a 7:58.8, 1.8 seconds in front of the Cardinal (8:00.67).

Stanford's 4+ picked up the win, crossing the line at 7:37.4, nine seconds ahead of Princeton (7:46.5).

The 1V closed the action with a 6:43.67, 6.48 seconds ahead to win the Class of 2015 Cup for the third straight event.

"It's great to bring this cup back with us to New Jersey," said Princeton head coach Paul Rassam. "This is a tough race against a strong program, and we are happy despite having brought the cold, wind, and rain with us to California. The exciting thing is that all three of our boats really have a lot of room for improvement."

Princeton will take on Georgetown for the Class of 2006 Cup in two weeks (Apr. 27).
