About the Tigers
- Princeton kicked off conference play with a statement 34-3 victory on the road over Columbia on Sunday, winning all but one bout as sophomore Drew Heethius earned a fall while senior captain Luke Stout earned a tech fall.
- The win was a second-consecutive and fifth tech fall for #16/15 Stout this season, as the Pennsylvania native posts a 7-1 record so far.
- Sophomore Eligh Rivera had a standout week, going 2-0 with a sudden victory win over Rider's #29 McKenzie Bell before earning a major decision win from behind over Columbia's Kai Owens to contribute to his 8-6 record.
- For his efforts, #31/29 Rivera was named Ivy League Co-Wrestler of the Week. The honor is the first of his career and the first time a Tiger was given the award this season.
- Three Tigers were ranked in the first NCAA coaches' poll, including #25 Rivera, #23 Marc-Anthony McGowan (125), and #6 Ty Whalen (149).
- #26/21 McGowan started the season at Midlands and has since gone 10-2, picking up a fifth-place win at the tournament while earning four tech falls and a pin in just 12 matches.
- #14/11 Whalen has been dominant this season, posting a 12-1 record with his only loss coming last Friday with a 7-3 decision to Rider's #15 Sammy Alvarez. The sophomore won his weight class at the Princeton Open in November, and has accumulated three tech falls on the season.

- Princeton is now 5-6 on the season and 1-0 in Ivy play.
- The Tigers are led by two-time national champion Head Coach Joe Dubuque, in his second season at the helm of the program.
