No. 7 Yale, No. 2 Trinity to Visit Women's Squash This Weekend

A pair of top-10 opponents are set to visit the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood this weekend when No. 7 Yale and No. 2 Trinity come to Princeton to take on the No. 4-ranked Tiger women's squash team.

Princeton stands 2-0 on the new season with wins over Drexel and Williams, both by 9-0 scores. Yale is 2-1, rebounding from a season-opening loss to Virginia with wins over Georgetown and Drexel. Trinity is 4-0, defeating Tufts, Middlebury, Colby and Bates, all by 9-0 scores. The Bantams will head to No. 3 Penn on Saturday before taking on Princeton.
Princeton has won 13 straight over Yale since a 2014 loss to the Bulldogs in Princeton, and Trinity has won four straight over Princeton since the Tigers' last win over the Bantams, in Princeton in 2020. The teams met last season in the Howe Cup final last year with Trinity winning 6-2.
Emma Trauber, Molly Chadwick, Charlotte Bell, Katherine Sapinski, Liyen Teoh, Josephine Klein, Abigail Schuster and Hermione Cao are all 2-0 on the season heading into the team's first matches since before the holiday break.
After the weekend, Princeton will continue the homestand with a visit from Amherst, currently ranked No. 15 nationally, on Tuesday, Jan. 14 before Cornell comes in on Friday, Jan. 17.
