FRANK NEEDHAM - BASIC INFORMATION
•The Princeton Women's Basketball Team defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 67-61, at McCamish Pavillion on Sunday afternoon.

•Trailing by seven, the Tigers outscored the Yellow Jackets, 24-11 in the fourth quarter to take the victory.
Â
•Overall, Princeton went 8-of-13 from the floor (61.5 percent) in the final frame highlighted by 11 points and five boards from Fadima Tall.

•Tall finished with her fourth career double-double, adding 16 points and a personal-best 14 caroms. On Tuesday, Tall was named one of the Ann Meyers Drysdale USBWA National Players of the Week.

•Olivia Hutcherson was one of four in double figures (Ashley Chea, Madison St. Rose and Tall), setting a new career high with 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

•The Tigers were voted as the No. 1 team in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, the league announced. They earned 163 voting points and 17 of the 21 first place votes. Columbia was second at 147 points and three first place tallies while Harvard nabbed 126 points and the final first place nod. Penn was fourth (106), followed by Brown (84), Dartmouth (46), Cornell (45) and Yale (39).

•Head coach Carla Berube's team returns four starters from last year's NCAA Tournament team in Chea (First-Team All-Ivy), Skye Belker (Second-Team All-Ivy), Tall (Second-Team All-Ivy) and Hutcherson.

•Also, returning is St. Rose, who was recently named to the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award Watchlist presented by the Her Hoops Stats.
VERNA MCGRATH - TOP RETURNERS
•Ashley Chea was unanimous First-Team All-Ivy last season after seeing a jump in scoring (12.6), shooting (.432), free-throw shooting (.750), assists (103), rebounding (3.2) and steals (26).

•Skye Belker nabbed her first All-Ivy honor (second-team) in 2025 as she improved in scoring (13.0), shooting (.447), three-point shooting (.379), rebounding (2.1) and assists (78).

•Fadima Tall also corralled her first All-Ivy selection (second-team) as she saw a spike in most categories including scoring (10.6), three-point shooting (.323), rebounding (6.3), assists (63) and steals (40).

•Olivia Hutcherson played in 28 games in 2024-25 and improved in scoring (4.2), rebounding (4.3), steals (26) and blocks (16).

•Madison St. Rose averaged 17.0 points, 7.2 rebounds 1.2 assists per game in four contests last season before missing the year with a knee injury. In her three campaigns with the Tigers, St. Rose has averaged 12.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, while collecting Ivy Rookie of the Year in 2023 and Second-Team All-Ivy in 2024.
DAN DARWELL - THE CLASS OF 2029
•The Tigers brought in two players for the Class of 2029 in Sarah Lessig and Grace O'Sullivan.

•Lessig, from Seattle, Wash., was Metro League MVP and Seattle Sports Star of the Year nominee as a senior captain. She also played baseball, softball and flag football.
Â
•O'Sullivan, from Acton, Mass., earned three ISL All-League honors and was a two-time NEPSAC AA and NEPSAC Class B All-Star after securing over 1,200 points and 500 rebounds.

PRINCIPAL BEN EDWARDS - THE COACHING STAFF
•The coaching staff for Princeton remains the same with head coach Carla Berube, associate head coach Lauren Gosselin, assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Lauren Dillon, assistant coach Jordan Edwards and Director of Basketball Operations Lilly Paro.
