PRINCETON, N.J. – Two weeks after winning its second-consecutive Ivy League Championship, the Princeton women's cross country team will head to Bethlehem, Pa. for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Friday, hosted by Lehigh.
The women's 6k race will begin at noon.
Heps Halloween
On October 31, the Tigers won the 2025 Ivy League Championship, boasting a 1-2-5-8-11 finish for a team score of 27. They bested second-place Yale by 55 points, marking the largest margin of victory at Heps since 2012.
The team score ties the ninth-best Heps score all-time, and just the fourth time Princeton has combined for under 30 points.
Anna McNatt and Meg Madison took the two top spots on the podium in an outstanding one-two finish. It is the first time two teammates have achieved that feat since 2012. McNatt cleared the finish by seven seconds for individual victory.
Caroline Barton, Emma De Jong and Maddie Cramer rounded out the Tiger scorers.
Season in Review
The Tigers have been building all season, and currently sit ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
McNatt and Madison have been dominant, with each earning two Ivy Athlete of the Week awards for taking top-Tiger finishes.
Most recently, Princeton took second at the Fall Classic, falling by just two points behind Boise State. McNatt took silver in the field of over 250 runners, kicking out 19 runners in her second split and another three in the final 600m while setting a new personal best.
The Tigers have gone toe-to-toe with some of the best competition in the region and the nation, as they put up strong performances so far at Gans Creek, site of the NCAA Championships, Iona Paddy Doyle, site of Heps, and their own Fall Classic.
At Van Cortlandt earlier this year for Paddy Doyle, the Tigers got valuable course experience as they raced to a first-place finish with a near-perfect score of 19. Meg Madison cleared the finish line first by fifteen seconds, with the Tigers filling out six of the top-7 spots.
About Coach Hunt
The Tigers are led by Brad Hunt, in his 10th season at the helm of the cross country program. He earned 2025 Ivy Cross Country Coach of the Year honors after leading the squad to the championship title, his second in a row. He also picked up Mid-Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors in the outdoor track season.
