Women's Basketball Preps For Battle4Atlantis This Weekend

NASSAU – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team will take part in the Battle 4 Atlantis this weekend at the Imperial Arena.
The Tigers will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday (1 p.m.) before battling the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks on Sunday at 12 p.m.

 MAJESTY PALM - BASIC INFORMATION
•The Princeton Women's Basketball Team allowed just two baskets in the fourth quarter to take down the Rice Owls, 69-56, at Jadwin Gym on Wednesday evening.
•The Tigers ran off eight of 10 to begin the fourth stanza to jump in front, 58-52, with 5:59 left in the game.
•After the two teams exchanged buckets, Princeton ripped off nine straight to extend its lead to 15, 69-54, to put the contest away. The home team shot 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) in the final 10 minutes while holding Rice to 2-of-12 (16.7 percent) during that stretch.
•Madison St. Rose led the Tigers with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting while Fadima Tall secured 16 points, six boards and four dimes. Skye Belker had a season-high 15 points on 6-of-10 from the floor in the victory.
•Tall was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. It's the first time that the 2025 Second-Team All-Ivy selection has earned that honor. She averaged 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game in the Tigers' two contests last week.
•The junior produced a career-high 21 points along with nine rebounds and five steals as Princeton rallied to defeat Villanova, 73-68 on Wednesday.
•She followed that with 13 points, 7 caroms and three swipes in the Tigers' loss to No. 7/9 Maryland on Sunday.
•Last week, Tall was named one of the Ann Meyers Drysdale USBWA National Players of the Week after producing her fourth career double-double with 16 points and a personal-best 14 rebounds along with two assists and two steals in the win over Georgia Tech.
•St. Rose leads the Tigers in scoring at 17.3 points per contest while Tall is right behind her at 16.5 points per game while pacing the team in rebounding (9.0). St. Rose was named to the Wooden Award Watchlist on Wednesday.
•The Tigers have been outscored by -28 in quarters one, two and three, but have outscored their opponents by 36 in the fourth quarter.
