PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's volleyball team plays its final two road matches of the regular season when it faces Columbia on Nov. 7 and Cornell on Nov. 8.
Championship Tradition
The Tigers won their 20th Ivy League title in program history in 2023, finishing Ivy play with a 12-2 record. Princeton shared the championship with Yale, who also went 12-2 in conference play. Princeton's 20 Ivy titles are the most of any Ivy program, with Yale's 14 coming in second.
Head Coach Sabrina King
King is in her 14th season as head coach at Princeton. She has guided the Tigers to five Ivy League titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and has been named Ivy Coach of the Year three times. Throughout her tenure as head coach, King has coached four Ivy League Players of the Year and 44 All-Ivy honorees. A member of the Class of 2001 at Princeton, she won three Ivy titles as a player, was the 1999 Ivy Player of the Year and was a three-time All-Ivy selection.
National TV Win Over Brown
In a match broadcast live on ESPNU, the Tigers downed Brown in their most recent match, 3-1 (27-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-18), inside the Pizzitola Sports Center on Nov. 2.
Draper Named Ivy Player Of The Week
Draper was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 29 after helping Princeton sweep Penn.
Three Different Ivy Rookies of The Week
Three Tigers have been honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week; Shelby Burriss on Oct. 27 and Oct. 13, Olivia Foye on Sept. 29 and Taylor Clarke on Sept. 8.
The National Top-15
Princeton currently ranks No. 18 in hitting percentage (.277) and No. 19 in the nation in assists-per-set (12.97).
Sensational Scalamandre
Lucia Scalamandre, a three-time All-Ivy honoree, currently ranks No. 5 among active career leaders in hitting percentage (.389). In 2025, she ranks No. 15 in the nation and No. 1 in the Ivy League in hitting percentage (.419), No. 6 in blocks-per-set (1.00), No. 8 in points (3.46) and No. 9. in kills (2.78).
Accurate Hitting
Scalamandre's .800 hitting percentage against Columbia on Oct. 18 tied the highest hitting percentage recorded by an Ivy League player in 2025. In addition, five out of the top-10 single game hitting percentages by an Ivy player this season have been from Scalamandre.
A National Assist Leader
The 2023 Ivy Rookie of the Year, Draper was named to the Ivy League All-Tournament Team in 2024 and is a two-time all-conference selection. She currently ranks No. 6 nationally and leads the Ivy League in assists-per-set (10.73). In addition, Draper ranks No. 11 among active career leaders in assists-per-set (10.10).
A Nation Leading Performance From Draper
Draper's 52 assists against Penn on Sept. 26 were the most by any player in a three-set match in 2025.
Strong Senior Season From Nutakor
Valerie Nutakor ranks fifth in the Ivy League in kills-per-set (3.24) and seventh in points (3.49). In addition to being a career-high, Nutakor's 25 kills on Oct. 17 against Cornell are tied for the most kills in a match by an Ivy League player in 2025.
Big Impact From Bold
Sydney Bold ranks seventh in the Ivy League in digs-per-set (3.15).
Freshman Impact
The Tigers' freshmen class have quickly made an impact. Burriss ranks No. 4 in in the Ivy League and No. 43 in the nation in hitting percentage (.380). Burris also ranks No. 8 in the conference in blocks (0.85) while Foye ranks No. 5 in digs (3.38).
Scouting Columbia
The Lions are 2017 overall and 0-9 in Ivy League play. Columbia currently sits in eighth place in the Ivy League standings. The Lions fell to Dartmouth in their most recent match, 3-0 (25-21, 27-25, 25-21), on Nov.1 1 in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Princeton swept Columbia, 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-19) inside Dillon Gymnasium on Oct. 18.
