A rematch of the CSA individual national championship helped deliver a 5-4 win to the No. 3-ranked Princeton women's squash team on Friday at the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood.
Princeton held a 4-2 lead entering a final flight that included the match at first position, where Zeina Zein, just 10 days after winning the program's first CSA individual title in 24 years, turned in another three-game win over Riya Navani, 11-4, 14-12, 11-1, giving Princeton its fifth win of the day.
The Tigers' two wins in the first flight came from Emma Trauber, who took the first two games on the way to a four-game win at second position, and Liyen Teoh, who pulled away from a 1-1 tie to win in four at eighth.
Wins from Molly Chadwick and Sonya Sasson at third and seventh helped push the Tiger lead to 4-2 after two flights, with Chadwick rallying to win in five after being down two games and Sasson winning the last two games to take her match in five.
The win lifts Princeton to 9-1 on the season with the Ivy League finale at Penn coming on Sunday at noon in Philadelphia.
