About the Tigers
- Princeton is coming off a dominant weekend, going 3-0 with wins over Drexel, 24-13, and Ivy rivals Brown (36-7) and Harvard (44-0).
- After last weekend's results, Princeton is now 3-0 in the Ivy League after capturing another commanding win on the road at Columbia the weekend prior, 34-3. The Tigers are now tied for first in the league standings along with Cornell and Penn.
- #23 Marc-Anthony McGowan had a standout weekend, earning three tech fall victories in his three matches, including one against Drexel's #32 Desmond Pleasant. For his performance, McGowan was named Ivy League Wrestler of the Week. The redshirt freshman has now earned a tech fall or a fall in six of his last seven matches, winning the only outlier by decision.
- McGowan is now 13-2 on the season since starting the season at Midlands.
- #26 Kole Mulhauser has been strong as of late too, going 2-1 this weekend with a major decision over Brown's #27 Drew Reall and a tech fall over Harvard's Luke Rada. The sophomore is now 9-3 on the season, with two wins over ranked opponents.
- #25 Eligh Rivera has been on a tear, earning three wins this weekend with a major and a tech fall. Winning his last five, Rivera is now 14-4 on the season.
- #16 Luke Stout is also 10-1 on the season after having a 3-0 weekend with two major decisions and a tech fall. The three-time NCAA qualifier is undefeated since his return to the mat in January.
- #6 Ty Whalen has been consistent for the Tigers, as the sophomore captain is 15-1 on the season with his only loss to Rider's #15 Sam Alvarez. This weekend, Whalen posted two tech fall victories and a decision.
- Jake Mann picked up a ranked win over Drexel's #22 Luke Nichter, going 2-1 on the weekend to post a record of 10-6 on the season.
- The Tigers are led by two-time national champion Head Coach Joe Dubuque, in his second season at the helm of the program. Joining Dubuque this year are two new assistant coaches - Cody Brewer, who comes to Princeton from Virginia Tech, and 219 NCAA Champion Anthony Ashnault, who is beginning his coaching career after an impressive collegiate wrestling career at Rutgers.

- The #9 Big Red are 7-1 on the season, with its sole loss to NC State in December, 18-20.
- Cornell is coming off a 2-0 Sunday with a 40-0 win over Columbia and a 29-9 win over Binghamton.
- Five Big Red wrestlers were ranked in the first NCAA coaches' poll. Josh Saunders (141) ranked 24th, Ethan Fernandez (149) ranked 18th, Julian Ramirez (165) ranked 5th, Simon Ruiz (174) ranked 12th and Mikey Dellagatta (197) ranked 23rd..
- Julian Ramirez (7-0) and Chris Foca (7-0) remain undefeated in duals since their mid-season return.
- Meyer Shapiro has won seven consecutive matches since losing at the Journeyman Classic.
- Freshman Simon Ruiz leads the team in total wins this season with 15 and bonus points wins with nine.
- Princeton's last win over the Big Red came in 2020 with the Tigers winning the Ivy Championship at home in Jadwin Gym.
