WALTER WHITE - NCAA Tournament Info.
•Princeton, as one of the last four teams in, will battle Iowa State on March 19th at 7 p.m. The winner will take on No. 6 seeded Michigan in South Bend, Indiana. The other contest in the pod will feature host No. 3 seed Notre Dame vs. No. 14 seed Stephen F. Austin.
•This is the Tigers' sixth straight NCAA Tournament. Princeton has made a postseason tournament every year since 2009-10.
•Iowa State went 22-11 and 12-6 in the Big 12 before falling to Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinals. The Cyclones are led by Audi Crooks who averages 23.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
•Head coach Carla Berube's squad went 21-7 and collected a Net Ranking of 47, adding four combined quad 1/2 victories.
•Last season, the Tigers fell to No. 8 seeded West Virginia, 63-53, in the first round.
•The Tigers reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year in 2023 after defeating NC State 64-63 on a game-winning three by Grace Stone with 4.7 seconds to go.
•During the 2021-22 season, Berube's unit defeated No. 6 seeded Kentucky, the SEC Champion, 69-62, in the first round, the program's second-ever NCAA victory.Princeton would then take No. 3 Indiana to the limit in the Second Round, falling to the hosts at Assembly Hall, 56-55.

•The Princeton Women's Basketball Team dropped a heartbreaker to the Harvard Crimson, 70-67, in the Ivy League Tournament Semifinal.
•A Skye Belker three-pointer with 1:54 to go cut the Tigers' deficit to one, 68-67. After a missed shot from Harvard and turnover by Princeton, the Crimson's Abigail Wright's layup made it 60-57 with 38 seconds to go. The Tigers had two shots to tie the game but couldn't hit, giving Harvard the victory.
•Belker led the Tigers with 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Ashley Chea added 15 points while Fadima Tall had 11 points in the loss. Harvard's Harmoni Turner led all scorers with 44 points in the win.

•The Tigers rank 14th in field goal percentage (46.6), 31st in scoring defense (56.8), 46th in rebound margin (+5.5), 55th in three-point percentage (34.5), 68th in assists per game (15.1), 67th in scoring margin (+10.0), 80th in assist/turnover ratio (1.02) and 81st in blocks per game (3.8).
•Princeton has a NCAA Net Ranking of 47, third in the Ivy League behind Harvard (36) and Columbia (42). Charlie Creme's ESPN's Bracketology's correctly had Princeton as one of the four last four teams in, joining Columbia.
•Ashley Chea is third in the Ivy League in three-point percentage (36.1) and three-pointers made (2.0) and sits fifth in assists per game (3.6) and assist/turnover ratio (1.45). Parker Hill is third among Ivy players in blocks per game (0.93) while Fadima Tall is fourth in free-throw percentage (78.7).
GUS FRING - Top Returners
•The top returning starter was Madison St. Rose. St. Rose, who was Second-Team All-Ivy last season, was leading the team in scoring at 17.0 points and rebounding at 7.3 caroms per game before a knee injury ended her season.
•Skye Belker became only the fifth freshmen in program history to start every game last season. She averaged 8.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists while earning three Ivy Rookie of the Week honors.
•Belker is averaging 13.1 points, 2.9 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 2024-25. The sophomore was a consistent scorer producing 19 double-digit performances including 24 points at Utah and a career-high 25 points at Dartmouth, earning second-team All-Ivy honors.
•Another returner that has moved into the starting lineup is Ashley Chea. The sophomore played in every game last year and produced 6.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest.
•Chea is averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds for Princeton this year. She has earned two Ivy Player of the Week honors en route to an unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection.
•After seeing action in 15 games last season, Fadima Tall has started 26 games this year and is corralling 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals per contest, securing Second Team All-Ivy.
•Parker Hill was a regular in last year's rotation, averaging almost 12 minutes per contest. This season, Hill has started every game, collecting 7.2 points on 62.2 percent shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists, all career highs, which led to earn Honorable Mention All-Ivy.
•Olivia Hutcherson saw action in nine games in her freshman season but averages 19.6 minutes per contest this season and has started almost every game since St. Rose's injury.

•Tabitha Amanze appeared in 15 games as a sophomore, averaging 2.7 points, 1.5 rebounds. This season, the junior is putting up 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest.
