Five Tigers in NWSL as Season Begins

Five Princeton women's soccer alumnae are on National Women's Soccer League rosters as the 2025 season gets going.
• Madison Curry '24, who played with Angel City FC in 2024, signed with Seattle Reign as a free agent in December 2024, inking a three-year deal with Seattle.
• Tyler Lussi '17, who ahead of last season agreed to an extension with North Carolina Courage through the 2025 season and with a mutual option for 2026, enters her third season with the Courage after beginning her career in Portland, moving to Angel City ahead of the 2022 season.
• Heather MacNab '25 signed a short-term contract with the Courage in March 2025, a deal that by NWSL rules must last at least two months and can continue through the end of the calendar year. MacNab finished her career with Princeton last fall.
• Aria Nagai '24, who played a graduate year last fall at the University of North Carolina, helping the Tar Heels to the NCAA title after finishing her Princeton career in the fall of 2023, signed a short-term contract with Utah Royals in March 2025.
• Pietra Tordin '26, who turned pro after her junior season at Princeton last fall, signed with Portland Thorns for the 2025 and 2026 season with a player option for 2027.
The NWSL season will run through the first weekend in November with playoffs over the following three weeks.
