Mudd Breaks Ivy Record Again as Princeton Competes at Virginia, Wake Forest

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – Tessa Mudd set another new Ivy League record in the pole vault as Princeton had a record-breaking start to the weekend with the Virginia Challenge and the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday.
Virginia Challenge - Day One
Just a week after breaking her own Ivy League record in the event from last year, Mudd broke her Ivy League pole vault record again, clearing 4.40m/14-5¼" to win the event.
Her mark is a 2cm improvement from her performance at the 44 Farms Team Invite last weekend, which won her Ivy Athlete of the Week Honors.
Georgina Scoot tied her own school record in the long jump, jumping an impressive 6.49m/21-3½ to match her 2024 mark.
Alex Kelly also had a day in the long jump, coming in at 6.30m/20-8 for fourth and a new NCAA #22.
Wake Forest Invitational
Several Tigers set new personal bests on the day. In the 800, Olivia Martin set a new PR clocking in at 2:08.30 for sixth place. Stella Vieth also hit a new best with a time of 2:08.60 for ninth.
Hannah Riggins took eighth in the 800 invite, running 2:05.18 for a new D1 East #29.
Maddie Cramer took third in the 1500, running a new personal record time of 4:24.17.
Anna McNatt finished fifth in the 10000, running 33:47.64 for a new East #31.
In the steeple invite, Lexi Allen finished in the top 10 with a time of 10:27.30
