PRINCETON, N.J. – Postseason competition begins for the No. 5 Princeton University heavyweight rowing team at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 18 at Eastern Sprints, where the Tigers will look to retain the Rowe Cup.

In a thrilling race that went down to the final moments, the Tigers won the Content Cup over No. 4 Brown and set a new course best time (5:20.8) at Lake Carnegie on May 3. In addition, 5:20.8 stands as the fastest time in college this season. The 4V (5:47.7) also finished ahead of the Bears (5:51.1) in the second race of the morning.
Last Time At Eastern Sprints
Princeton won the Rowe Cup, the trophy awarded to the team scoring the highest combined points total, for the first time since 2016. The Tigers' 2V and 3V won their respective Grand Finals and the 1V won silver, finishing just 0.081 behind Brown in one of the closest finishes in Sprints history.
