
Jackson Hicke Named To USA 3x3 Team For World University Games

PRINCETON, N.J. – Rising junior Jackson Hicke of the Princeton University men's basketball team was selected to represent Team USA in 3x3 competition at the World University Games in Bochum, Germany, in July.
Joining Hicke on the US team will be Avery Brown (Columbia), Chandler Piggé (Harvard) and Nick Townsend (Yale). Games will be played from July 17-20 at the Jahrhunderthalle. The team will hold a training camp in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 12 before traveling to Germany on July 15. An Opening Ceremony will be held on July 16 prior to competition.
Hicke appeared in all 30 games for the Tigers in 2024-25, making eight starts. In 17.2 minutes-per-game, Hicke averaged 5.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He recorded 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field and 2-for-3 from three while also grabbing four rebounds in the Tigers' win at Columbia on Feb. 28, and scored 13 points against Yale on Jan 31. Against the University of Pennsylvania on Feb. 7 at the Palestra, Hicke scored 11 points and sank the game-winning free throws. Hicke scored 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting and tallied three blocks and three rebounds in a victory over Akron on Dec. 30 and scored eight points on a perfect 3-for-3 shooting in the Tigers' win against Big Ten opponent Rutgers in the Never Forget Tribute Classic on Dec. 21. He also recorded 10 points, six rebounds and three assists on Feb. 22 against Dartmouth.
