Cashman, Hampson, Yeager Named 2025 Field Hockey Captains

The Princeton field hockey team will have three captains for the 2025 season.
Seniors Ella Hampson and Beth Yeager and junior Ella Cashman were chosen through a vote of their teammates. Yeager is a captain for the second straight year, making her the 18th player in program history to be a captain in multiple years.
Opening day for the Tigers will be Sept. 5, when the annual four-team season kickoff event comes to Bedford Field, with Princeton, Penn, Old Dominion and North Carolina.

Cashman and Yeager were both first-team All-Ivy League selections a year ago, when Yeager was also a first-team All-American and the Ivy Offensive Player of the Year for the third time. Hampson started 17 games a year ago and was a huge part of Princeton's transition game. The selection of Cashman and Hampson marks the seventh straight season that Princeton will have at least one captain from England.So Harvard scored with 2:35 to go, and the Cashman from Yeager ties it with 59 seconds left. We head to OT in the Ivy tournament final.
