PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's volleyball team plays inside Dillon Gymnasium for the first time in 2025 when it hosts Brown on Oct. 3 then Yale in a 2024 Ivy Tournament final rematch against Yale on Oct. 4.
Championship Tradition
The Tigers won their 20th Ivy League title in program history in 2023, finishing Ivy play with a 12-2 record. Princeton shared the championship with Yale, who also went 12-2 in conference play. Princeton's 20 Ivy titles are the most of any Ivy program, with Yale's 14 coming in second.
Championship Caliber Programs
Along with sharing the Ivy title in 2024, the Tigers and Bulldogs shared it in 2022, 2019 and 2017. Yale won it outright in 2023 and 2018 while Princeton won it outright in 2016.
Head Coach Sabrina King
King is in her 14th season as head coach at Princeton. She has guided the Tigers to five Ivy League titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and has been named Ivy Coach of the Year three times. Throughout her tenure as head coach, King has coached four Ivy League Players of the Year and 44 All-Ivy honorees. A member of the Class of 2001 at Princeton, she won three Ivy titles as a plyer, was the 1999 Ivy Player of the Year and was a three-time All-Ivy selection.
Ivy Opening Victory Over The Quakers
In its first Ivy League match of 2025, the Tigers earned a 3-0 (37-25, 25-21, 25-15) sweep of the University of Pennsylvania on Sept. 26 inside the Palestra in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Erin McNair led the match in kills with 17 and service aces with two, while also tallying 12 digs for her second double-double of the season. Ava Harrington added a career-high 12 kills on .450 hitting percentage and a game-high four blocks while Valerie Nutakor recorded her fourth double-double of 2025 with 10 kills on a .357 hitting percentage and 11 digs. Sydney Draper finished with her fifth double-double of the season, compiling a match-high 52 assists and 16 digs. Olivia Foye's 23 digs were also a match-high.
Draper Named Ivy Player Of The Week
Draper was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 29 after helping Princeton sweep Penn.
Two Different Ivy Rookies of The Week
Two Tigers have been honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week; Olivia Foye on Sept. 29 and Taylor Clarke on Sept. 8.
Accurate Hitting
Princeton currently ranks No. 26 in the nation in hitting percentage (.276).
Sensational Scalamandre
Lucia Scalamandre, a three-time All-Ivy honoree, currently ranks No. 5 among active career leaders in hitting percentage (.388). In 2025, she's tied for No. 7 in the nation and No. 1 in the Ivy League in hitting percentage (.458) and No. 9 in blocks-per-set (0.89).
A National Assist Leader
The 2023 Ivy Rookie of the Year, Draper was named to the Ivy League All-Tournament Team in 2024 and is a two-time all-conference selection. She currently ranks No. 7 nationally and leads the Ivy League in assists-per-set (11.03).
A Nation Leading Performance From Draper
Draper's 52 assists against Penn on Sept. 26 were the most by any player in a three-set match in 2025.
Strong Senior Season From Nutakor
Valerie Nutakor ranks fourth in the Ivy League in kills-per-set (3.37), seventh in points (3.52) and tenth in digs (2.53).
Big Impact From Bold
Sydney Bold leads the Tigers and ranks fifth third in the Ivy League in digs-per-set (3.54).
Harrington Making Her Mark
Harrington's 0.89 blocks-per-set ranks No. 8 in the Ivy League.
