Corniea Named to WHCA Goalie of the Year Watch List

Princeton junior Uma Corniea has been named to the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association's Goalie of the Year Watch List.Â
The list includes goalies with a goals against average of 2.20 or lower or a save percentage of .923 or higher. From the 31-goalie list, a committee will choose a winner to be announced at the Frozen Four in March.
Corniea ranks ninth in the nation in goalie winning percentage (.667), 10th in save percentage (.937), 11th in goals-against average (1.842) and 17th in shutouts (two).
Corniea has helped Princeton to the top of the ECAC Hockey standings, with Harvard and Dartmouth headed to Baker Rink this weekend.
