PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's track and field team will head up to Boston for two meets this weekend, with the Crimson Open at Harvard on Friday and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston on Saturday.
The Tigers last competed at the Penn Classic last Friday and Saturday, making three school record performances.
Brooke Jackson set a new school record in the 60m on Friday, running a blazing 7.45 in the final to set a new meet record too. On Saturday, Maisha Atkinson was next to add another event to her list of program records as she ran 53.71 in the 400m. The record is Atkinson's second of the season, as she set a new record in the 300m at the Penn Opener.
Georgina Scoot matched her own program record in the triple jump, clearing 13.47m / 44-2.5" for the second time this season after setting that record at the Quaker Invite. Matching her best on her last attempt, Scoot recorded over 13m on each of her jumps.
Alexandra Kelly was right alongside Scoot, clearing 13.17m / 43-2.5". With their marks ranking fifth and 14th, respectively, on the current NCAA list, Scoot and Kelly continue to rank among the best jumpers in the country with their impressive marks and consistency.
With fellow jumpers Anika Scott and Elizabeth Yeboah-Kodie tallying strong, all-time program top-10 performances, the Tigers continue to showcase their depth and strength with Heps on the horizon.
The Tigers, the defending Ivy League Triple Crown Champions, look to continue a streak of success this year after winning the 2025 cross country championship to kick off this academic year.
Last May, the Tigers completed their third Triple Crown and first since 2011 as they won the Ivy League Outdoor Heps Championship.
In the 2025 indoor season, the Tigers cruised to victory, making history as they scored in every event. Princeton claimed seven individual champions and a 4x800 relay win.
Champions returning to the track this indoor season include Julia Jongejeugd (pentathlon), Angela McAuslan-Kelly (WT), Georgina Scoot (TJ), Kelly (LJ), and Hannah Riggins (1000m). Stella Vieth and Maddie Cramer, two members of the 4x800 squad, also return this year.
The Tigers are led by Head Coach Michelle Eisenreich, in her 10th season at the helm. Eisenreich earned two Ivy League Coach of the Year awards last year in the indoor and outdoor track seasons. The Triple Crown was the program's first under her leadership.
