PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton men's track and field team will close out the regular indoor season at the Ott Center for the Philadelphia Metro Meet on Friday, Feb. 20.Â
Â
Last weekend, the Tigers put up big performances at the BU Valentine Invitational, the Crimson Open and the Tyson Invitational.
Greg Foster highlighted the weekend, setting a huge PR for an Ivy record in the long jump with a mark of 8.19m. Foster broke his own league record of 8.07m, set earlier this season at the Quaker Invite. His performance ranks second in the NCAA currently.
For his efforts, Foster was named Ivy Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Myles Hogan and Jacob Nenow also had a solid performance in the 5000m at BU Valentine, with Hogan setting a new program record with a second-place finish of 13:21.57, which now puts him at 15th nationally. Nenow, running under the previous record as well but in the heat following Hogan's new record, clocked in at 13:30.26 for 29th nationally and second all-time in the school record book.Â
A Tiger relay squad of Jonathan York, Xavier Donaldson, Jackson Clarke and Joey Gant also set a new NCAA top-10 mark and program record in the 4x400, running 3:03.56.Â
Â
The Tigers enter the 2025-26 indoor track season chasing a third-consecutive Ivy League Triple Crown. This Fall, the Tigers continued their streak of success as they won the 2025 cross country championship.Â
Â
Last year, Princeton completed its 12th all-time and second-consecutive Triple Crown by winning the 2025 Outdoor Heps Championship.Â
Â
In the indoor season, Princeton dominated, claiming the Ivy title by a margin of 85 points. Across the meet, the Tigers had seven individual Ivy Champions and two relay wins.
Â
Of last year's indoor individual champions, four will return in Licata (SP), Foster (LJ), Clarke (200m) and Gant (400m).
Â
The entire 4x400 champion squad of Kavon Miller, Jonathan York, Karl Dietz, and Xavier Donaldson also returns, alongside Collin Boler of the 4x800 championship team.
Â
The Tigers are led by Jason Vigilante, in his third year at the helm. Since being named the head coach, Vigilante has led the Tigers to two Triple Crowns. He was named the 2025 Outdoor Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, and the 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Ivy Coach of the Year.Â
