PRINCETON, N.J. - The Ivy League announced its postseason honors following the regular season, with the Princeton women's hockey team earning two major awards along with four All-Ivy selections.
Issy Wunder was named Ivy League Player of the Year after previously receiving ECAC Hockey's Mandi Schwartz Award earlier this month. In conference play, Wunder led the team with 10 goals and 13 points, adding three assists. She was recognized as first-team All-Ivy for the second straight year and is now a three-time All-Ivy honoree, along with her second-team honor in 2024.
Wunder is Princeton's inclusion on the Academic All-Ivy team, an honor the psychology major earned for the second straight year.
It's Princeton's ninth Ivy League Player of the Year honor in program history, and Wunder is just the second player in program history to win multiple Ivy Player of the Year awards and first since 1984, when Syrena Carlbom '84 won her fourth straight honor.
Joining Wunder on the First Team was starting goaltender Uma Corniea, who posted a 5-4-0-2 record in league play with a .916 save percentage. This marks Corniea's first All-Ivy honor.
Mackenzie Alexander earned Second-Team All-Ivy honors after tallying 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in conference action. This marks the second consecutive season of Alexander receiving this honor.
Rosie Klein received Honorable Mention All-Ivy recognition. Starting all 10 Ivy matchups, she recorded a team-high 23 blocked shots while contributing six points (one goal, five assists). This is Klein's second All-Ivy Honorable Mention after receiving it previously in 2025.
The Princeton Tigers were further recognized as their coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year. The coaching quartet: Courtney Kessel, Shelly Picard, Taylor Wenczkowski and Daniel Gould led the Tigers to 21-8 overall in the regular season. This season marks Kessel's first year leading the program.
