Wunder Named Finalist for ECAC Player of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. - Issy Wunder is once again in the running for ECAC recognition, earning a spot as a finalist for ECAC Forward of the Year, for a second consecutive year.
Just last week, the senior standout claimed Ivy League Player of the Year honors, along with two All-Ivy selections and First Team All-ECAC recognition. This marks her second career First Team All-ECAC nod, having first received the honor in 2025.
Earlier in February, Wunder was named ECAC Hockey's Mandi Schwartz Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an award presented annually to an ECAC women's hockey player in memory of the late Yale alumna Mandi Schwartz.
Following the first round of the playoffs, Wunder continues to pace her team with 27 goals and 43 points. In the regular season, she tallied seven game-winning goals, two overtime winners, and two hat tricks.
On the national stage, she ranks first in game-winning goals, third in goals per game, and ninth in points per game.
In 2025, Wunder was also a finalist for ECAC Player of the Year and earned Forward of the Year honors.The winner will be announced at the ECAC banquet on Thursday in Lake Placid.
