2026 to Open For #2 Women’s Lightweight Rowing Against #1 Radcliffe

PRINCETON, N.J. – The #2 Princeton University women's lightweight rowing team will open the 2026 season against #1 Radcliffe for the Class of 1999 Cup on Apr. 4 at Lake Carnegie.

Recapping 2025
2025 saw Princeton win the Commissioner's Cup at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship along with gold medals in the 8+ and 4+, with the 8+ setting an IRA record of 6:19.32. The Tigers also won the team points trophy at Eastern Sprints along with gold in the 8+ and 4+ and silver in the 2x. In regular season competition, Princeton went undefeated.

Class of 1999 Cup History
Princeton and Radcliffe have competed annually since the Tiger women's lightweight program began in 1999. Princeton leads the all-time series 19-6, is 5-0 in the past five years and is a on a streak of six consecutive victories.
