PRINCETON, N.J. – Going coast to coast, the Princeton men's track and field team will split for three meets this weekend, with the Bryan Clay and Mt. SAC Invitationals in California and the IC4A Championships in nearby Piscataway, NJ.
The distance squad will head out to Azusa, Calif. for Bryan Clay (Thurs.-Sat.), while Joe Licata will represent the Tigers in the shot put at Mt. SAC on Saturday.
The rest of the Tigers will head over to Rutgers for the IC4A Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
Last weekend, the Tigers competed at the Spec Towns Invitational in Athens, Ga. Greg Foster set a new Ivy League record in the long jump, clearing 7.99m. His performance ranks third in the nation and broke the previous, 40-year-old league record of 7.98m - set in 1985.
The Tigers are coming off a historic indoor season that saw Princeton claim an 11th-straight indoor Ivy League Championship title.
At NCAAs, the Tigers claimed eight All-Americans. Foster (LJ), Joe Licata (SP) and a 4x400 squad earned First Team honors.
Connor McCormick (mile) and Myles Hogan (5000m) claimed Second Team distinction.
The Tigers enter the 2026 outdoor track season chasing a third-consecutive Ivy League Triple Crown.
Last year, Princeton completed its 12th all-time and second-consecutive Triple Crown by winning the 2025 Outdoor Heps Championship.
This Fall, the Tigers continued their streak of success as they won the 2025 cross country championship. Now with the indoor title claimed, they are an outdoor Ivy League championship away from completing the feat.
The Tigers are led by Jason Vigilante, in his third year at the helm. Since being named the head coach, Vigilante has led the Tigers to two Triple Crowns. He was named the 2025 Outdoor Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, and the 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Ivy Coach of the Year.
