The bottom line - Princeton has clinched at least a tie for the Ivy League championship and would win the title outright with a win over Penn. Should Penn defeat Princeton, then the teams would be Ivy League co-champions and a one-game playoff (Saturday night at Lehigh) would be held to determine the league's representative to the NCAA tournament. After all that -- After the Ivy League race included six teams two weeks ago and four teams last weekend, Princeton and Penn are the only two schools still alive heading into the final meeting.
A league of their own - Including this year, either Princeton or Penn (or both) has won the Ivy League title each of the last 13 years and 31 of the last 33.
More league - Princeton and Penn have finished 1-2 in the league race seven times in the last nine years. Princeton has already clinched a share of the title, and Penn can finish no worse than in a tie for second with Brown.
History lesson - This will be the third time in the last six seasons that Penn and Princeton have met in the regular season finale with one of the teams a game behind the other. Princeton, with a one-game lead in 1996, lost the regular-season finale but won the playoff game, Penn, with a one-game lead in 1999, won the regular-season finale.
More history - The team that won the first regular-season meeting between Penn and Princeton has also won the second nine times in the last 10 years. Princeton defeated Penn in the first meeting this season between the two.
Ol' reliable Nathan - Nate Walton leads Princeton in scoring, rebounding and assists. Only two players in school history (Kit Mueller three times, 1989-91, Bob Roma, 1979) have done so for a full season.
Playing from ahead - Princeton never trailed at any point in either game at Yale and Brown.
More lead - The team leading at halftime has not trailed at any point in the second half of Princeton's last seven games.
No place like home - Princeton is 6-0 at home in Ivy games.
No place like road - The visiting team has won five of the last six meetings in the Princeton-Penn series.
Bottoms up - Princeton is 7-0 against teams in the top five in the Ivy League standings and 3-3 against teams in the bottom three.
Point, counterpoint - Princeton has scored 1,446 points and allowed 1,447 points.
Can you spare a dime? - Nate Walton has 101 assists, making him the fourth player in school history with two seasons of at least 100 assists. The other three are Princeton coach John Thompson, Columbia coach Armond Hill and Kit Mueller.
More dimes - Andre Logan had a career high six assists against Brown Saturday night.
Highly offensive - Nate Walton has scored at least 17 points in each of his last three games, shooting 17 for 26 in that time.
Special K - Princeton is 9-0 in Ivy League games in which Konrad Wysocki has played at least 20 minutes and 1-3 in games in which he has not.
Just win, baby - Princeton has clinched at least a share of its 23rd Ivy League championship and 34th league championship.
More win - Princeton has clinched at least a tie for its eighth Ivy League title in the last 13 years.
Still more win - Princeton has assured itself of having its 90th winning record in 101 seasons of basketball.
Three for all - C.J. Chapman has attempted 115 three-pointers and 18 two-pointers.
More three - Princeton has attempted 570 three-pointers and 539 two-pointers.
Still more three - C.J. Chapman is shooting 27 for 55 on three-pointers in Ivy League games.
In case you forgot - Princeton defeated Penn 67-53 at the Palestra on Feb. 13 in the first meeting between the teams this season.
In case you didn't know - Princeton shot 39.6% from the field against Penn in the first meeting this season, it was Princeton's lowest shooting percentage in any of its 15 wins this season.
The first time around - Princeton had four players (Ahmed El-Nokali, Nate Walton, C.J. Chapman, Konrad Wysocki) in double figures in the first meeting this season against Penn.
Heating up - Since losing back-to-back 17 point games at Columbia and Cornell, Princeton has won four straight games by an average margin of 14.5 points.
Welcome back - Since returning from injuries to his foot and toe that limited him to a total of 37 minutes in the first nine Ivy games, Mike Bechtold has played at least 14 minutes in each of the last four games. Princeton is 4-0 in those games.
Say Wente - Sophomore Kyle Wente has averaged 7.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.8 minutes per game. Wente totaled three points, three rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes his entire freshman season.
More Wente - Princeton is 7-1 when Kyle Wente scores in double figures.
Swish - Konrad Wysocki leads Princeton in field goal percentage (55.9%).
Logan's run - Andre Logan has started all 13 Ivy League games after starting one non-league game.
I'm honored - Nate Walton was named Ivy League Player of the Week this past week. He is the second Princeton player this year to be so honored, Mike Bechtold won the award the first week in December.
Young guns - Princeton has had three different freshmen (Konrad Wysocki, Ed Persia, Andre Logan) be named Ivy League Rookie of the Week at least once.
A little perspective - Princeton has clinched at least a share of the Ivy League championship despite losing two members of its coaching staff (Bill Carmody to Northwestern, Joe Scott to Air Force) and five players (Chris Young to pro baseball, Spencer Gloger to UCLA, Ray Robins to a year off, Chris Krug to a leave of absence from the team and Eugene Baah, who left in midseason) since the end of last season.
