PRINCETON, N.J. - The men's and women's basketball teams spent the afternoon Nov. 14 speaking to the local media about their upcoming seasons. The men begin their season at the Sooner Invitational against Western Michigan on Nov. 22, while the women open against Baylor in the Women's Sports Foundation Tournament that same night.
The men's basketball team was picked third in the 2002-03 Ivy preseason basketball poll, behind Penn and Yale. Penn was picked first with 11 first-place votes. Yale, picked second, received five first-place votes.
