PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Scott Greenman (Richland, N.J.) was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week today after helping Princeton to a pair of victories over the last week. The freshman guard from St. Augustine Prep had his biggest game in the 60-57 comeback win over Monmouth, scoring six points on a pair of three-pointers.
Greenman hit his first collegiate basket to open a 27-25 lead with just less than four minutes remaining in the first half. He would build on that lead on his next shot, another successful three-pointer with 2:19 left in the half. Princeton would go on to win the game 60-57 on an 80-foot buzzer beater by Ed Persia.
Greenman added a field goal and a pair of rebounds in Princeton's 89-75 win over Lafayette on Saturday. The Tigers are off until Saturday, when they will play host to Rutgers at 7:30 p.m. in Jadwin Gym.
