Tigers Look to Get Back on Track against Bulldogs at McCaffrey Classic

The Princeton men's basketball team won't have much time to think about its first loss of the 2003-04 season. Instead, the Tigers must turn their attention to Fresno State, the second day of the McCaffrey Classic and what's certain to be a hostile crowd of nearly 15,000 at the Bulldogs' brand-new Save Mart Center.
The Tigers, who fell to UC Irvine 57-55 Friday night when Adam Parada scored for the Anteaters with 1.8 seconds left, have found a new scoring option in 2003-04 in sophomore Scott Greenman, who had a career-best 14 points against Irvine. Greenman shot 4 for 5 from three-point range against the Anteaters and is shooting a scalding 10 for 17 from beyond the arc for the year. Greenman is second on the team in scoring, averaging 11 points per game, and needs just 11 points to surpass his scoring output from all of last season.
Fresno State played its first regular-season game in its new building Friday night, defeating Division II Arkansas-Monticello 68-55 in the second game of the McCaffrey Classic. The win was the Bulldogs' first of the season after losses at Oregon and Santa Clara to open the year. NOTE OF THE DAY
Taking Care of It - Princeton has 61 assists and just 48 turnovers through four games. The Tigers had 18 turnovers against Holy Cross but have averaged just 10 turnovers in their other three games.

It's Still Early, But... - Judson Wallace is averaging 22.0 points per game through four games this season. No Princeton player has averaged more than 20 points per game for a single season since Brian Taylor scored 25 points per game in 1971-72.
