Feb. 9, 2004
This year's first renewal of the Princeton-Penn men's basketball rivalry will be televised nationally, regionally and locally, meaning there's a good chance you can see the game just about anywhere in the United States.
College Sports Television (CSTV, www.cstv.com) will televise the game nationally, with Carter Blackburn on the play-by-play and former Notre Dame and North Carolina head coach Matt Doherty providing analysis. CSTV can be accessed on DirecTV Channel 610 with a subscription to the DirecTV Sports Pack. Check with your local cable operator to see if CSTV is part of your channel lineup.
CN8, the Comcast Network, will televise the game regionally on Comcast Cable systems throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic region. Scott Graham provides the play-by-play and Rob Kennedy is the color commentator. CN8 will also televise Princeton's game against Yale at Jadwin Gym Feb. 20 and the Tigers' game at Harvard March 5.
Patriot Media in Central New Jersey will also televise Tuesday's game and every home Ivy League game for the Tigers. Veteran voices Lou Brogno and Tom Criqui provide the analysis on all Patriot broadcasts of Princeton basketball.
Tuesday's game between the Tigers and the Quakers at Jadwin Gym, the 209th meeting between the long-time rivals, begins at 8 p.m.
