SportsTime Ohio BCA Classic Announces 2006 Field, Matchups

The Princeton men's basketball team will face Loyola University Chicago in the first round of the 2006 SportsTime Ohio BCA Classic on Fri., Nov. 10, at Ohio State's Value City Arena. The 2006 BCA Classic field and tournament matchups were released Wednesday.
A complete tournament bracket is available at http://www.gazellegroup.com/bcabbclassic/bracket06.pdf. The tournament's title sponsor, Northern Ohio regional sports network SportsTime Ohio, will also broadcast a number of games during the event.
The Princeton-Loyola winner will face the winner of the fourth first-round game between host Ohio State and VMI in the second round. Kent State will play South Dakota State and Alabama A&M will meet IUPUI in the other first-round matchups earlier in the day. Doubleheaders in both championship and consolation brackets will then take place on both Sat., Nov. 11, and Sun., Nov. 12.
Both Ohio State and Kent State were NCAA tournament teams in 2006. Princeton's first-round opponent, Loyola Chicago, finished 19-11 last season and was picked to win the Horizon League in a preseason poll in 2006-07.
