Princeton Offers Special Weekend Ticket Packs for Men?s Basketball Home Ivy Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. ? The “14 game tournament” that is Ivy League men's basketball has begun and will make seven trips through Jadwin Gymnasium in the months of February and March during the 2006-07 season. Looking to reward loyal Tiger fans, the Princeton University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the unique opportunity to watch the Tigers' "Ancient Eight" rivalries at a special rate as part of a Friday or Saturday ticket pack. Each package is only $30 - a savings of $12 over normal advance sale rates!

The “Orange and Black Friday Pack” features home contests against Ivy rivals Harvard (Feb.9), Cornell (Feb. 16), and Brown (Mar. 2), while the “Orange and Black Saturday Pack” includes games featuring League foes Dartmouth (Feb. 10), Columbia (Feb. 17), and Yale (Mar. 3). Fans purchasing either ticket pack will also receive a ticket to the Tigers marquee match up of the season against the Penn Quakers in the March 6 regular season finale.

The Tigers (9-6) are currently led by the nation's stingiest scoring defense (50.5 ppg) and a hard working cast of players featuring senior captain Justin Conway, the team's leading rebounder, as well as sharp shooters Kyle Koncz, Luke Owings, and Lincoln Gunn with a combined 84 three point field goals.

Orange and Black Packs can be purchased by calling 609.258.3538 or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office in Jadwin Gymnasium. Athletic Ticket Office hours are from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
