Princeton In Paradise: Tigers Meet No. 10 Duke In First-Ever Trip To Prestigious EA Sports Maui Invitational

The Princeton men's basketball team left Philadelphia Friday morning for a trip nearly two years in the making as the 2007 EA Sports Maui Invitational gets underway Monday when the 2-0 Tigers meet 10th-ranked and 2-0 Duke at 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2) at the Lahaina Civic Center.
The Tigers are the first Ivy team and only the second from the state of New Jersey (Seton Hall in 2001) to play in the prestigious three-day tournament on the island of Maui. Princeton makes its first trip to Hawaii since 1998, when the Tigers, led by current assistant coach Brian Earl, Gabe Lewullis and current San Diego Padres pitcher Chris Young, won the Rainbow Classic in Honolulu with wins over Florida State, Texas and Charlotte.
Princeton and Duke are meeting for the third time in five seasons and the fourth time in the last eight seasons. The Tigers will play either Arizona State or Illinois on the second day of the tournament. All three Princeton games will be televised live on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
