Tigers Conclude Road Schedule With Visit to Harvard

The Princeton men's basketball team plays its final road game this season Saturday night when the Tigers visit Harvard on Senior Night at Lavietes Pavilion (7 p.m., WBUD-AM 1260, GoPrincetonTigers.com).
Princeton (11-13, 2-8 Ivy), which fell 53-43 at Dartmouth Friday, is looking for a season sweep of the Crimson (10-15, 3-8 Ivy) for the second straight year. The Tigers have won four straight against the Crimson and 14 of the last 15 games in the series.
The Tigers outlasted the Crimson 74-68 in double overtime Feb. 9 at Jadwin Gym. Princeton made a season-high 14 three-point shots in the game to offset the offensive outburst of Harvard point guard Drew Housman, whose 33 points were the second-most by a visiting player in Jadwin Gym history.
Luke Owings came off the bench to score 15 points and add seven rebounds for the Tigers in Hanover Friday night. Owings hit all three of his three-point attempts.
Princeton will play Brown and Yale at home next weekend and then conclude the season by hosting Penn at Jadwin Gym March 6. Yale (9-2) remained one-half game behind Penn (9-1) in the league standings with a win over Cornell Friday night.
Benchmarks Princeton's bench players combined to shoot 11 for 19 from the field and score 26 points against Dartmouth Friday night.

Take It Inside Princeton shot just six three-point shots at Dartmouth Friday. The Tigers entered the game averaging more than 22 three-point attempts per game.
Take It Outside Princeton shot 38 three-point shots and made a season-high 14 three-pointers in its double-overtime win against Harvard at Jadwin Gym Feb. 9.

Injury Report Kyle Koncz, Princeton's leading scorer, has not practiced since Jan. 1 due to a stress reaction in his left foot. Koncz, who played 29 minutes last night, wears a boot on the foot during the week.
On the Defensive Princeton has limited its Ivy League opponents to 31 three-pointers and a 29% field-goal percentage from behind the arc in 10 league games.
Shooting Star Luke Owings had 15 points and seven rebounds in just 18 minutes off the bench against Dartmouth. Owings made all three of his three-point attempts.
The New Guy 6-9 freshman center Pawel Buczak played eight minutes at Dartmouth, contributing a first-half basket and two assists. Buczak had played just two minutes this season entering the game.
Iron Man Marcus Schroeder played all 40 minutes for Princeton at Dartmouth, the 16th time in 24 games this season Schroeder has played every minute. He leads NCAA Division in minutes played per game (38.7).
