Tigers To Make Six Appearances On ESPN Family Of Networks In 2007-08

The Princeton men's basketball team will appear on the ESPN family of networks six times this season, including a pair of home Ivy League contests and at Penn State in addition to the EA Sports Maui Invitational.
The Tigers will host ESPNU at Jadwin Gym twice for the third season in a row. The Sat., Feb. 2, game against Harvard has been switched to 6 p.m. for the ESPNU broadcast, while the season finale against archrival Penn on Tues., March 11, will be televised by the network for the third straight season and begin at 7 p.m.
Princeton and Penn State will meet for the first time since the 2000 ECAC Holiday Festival on Wed., Dec. 12, at the Bryce Jordan Center at 7 p.m. on ESPNU. Penn State assistant coach Dan Earl is the older brother of Princeton assistant coach Brian Earl.
All three Princeton games at the EA Sports Maui Invitational will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Tigers open the tournament against Duke on Mon., Nov. 19, at 9 p.m. in a game televised by ESPN2, then play either Arizona State or Illinois the following day before concluding play on Wed., Nov. 21.
The Tigers will also make an appearance on regional network CN8, The Comcast Network, when they visit The Palestra to play Penn on Tues., Feb. 12. Game time between the Tigers and Quakers is 7 p.m. that night.
