PRINCETON -- Princeton freshman guard Doug Davis earned his second Rookie of the Week award this season by scoring 27 points in Princeton's loss at Manhattan Sunday.

Davis was 10 of 18 from the field and canned 6 of 9 from three-point range in setting a career best. His first weekly rookie award came after his 25-point debut in the season opener against Central Michigan Nov. 14. Including those two 20-point efforts, Davis has scored double digits in six of eight games this season.

The 27-point game at Manhattan was a rebound after Davis struggled against St. Bonaventure and Rutgers over the past week, scoring two points apiece on 1 for 14 shooting and 0 for 8 from three-point range.

Davis and the Tigers will look to gain a pre-holiday win at Central Connecticut State Saturday before nine days off.
