Lake Named To Ivy League Honor Roll

Princeton sophomore forward Nick Lake was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Monday after a big weekend off the bench for the Tigers at Brown and Yale Feb. 29-March 1.
Lake had a career night Friday at Brown, scoring a career-best 16 points and grabbing a career-high seven rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench. Both were also team highs. He shot 5 for 9 from the field and 2 for 5 three-point range and made all four of his free throws.
The next night, at Yale, Lake played a season-high 32 minutes and scored 14 points while grabbing five rebounds. He again made a pair of three-point shots and connected on four of his six free-throw attempts.
Lake has played in 22 games this season and is shooting an impressive 51% from the field (25 for 49) and 41% from three-point range (11 for 27). He is averaging 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
Lake is the fourth Princeton player to be named to the Ivy League Honor Roll during the Ivy League season. Senior forward Kyle Koncz has earned the honor twice, including on Feb. 4 after his career-high 24 points against Harvard, while senior forward Noah Savage and sophomore guard Lincoln Gunn have also been named. Savage had 35 points against Brown Feb. 16, the most by a Princeton player in 24 years, whlie Gunn averaged 20 points a game for the Tigers in a weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard Feb. 1-2.
The Tigers play their final three games at home, beginning Friday night against Columbia at 7:30.
