Noah Savage '08 to Play in Swiss Pro League

Noah Savage '08 has signed to play for SAM Massagno Basket in the Swiss national “A” league for the 2008-09 season.
Savage, a team captain his senior year, matched his collegiate best by averaging 10.0 points per game last season, just as he did as a sophomore in 2006. The only Tiger to start all 29 games last season, Savage led the team in points with 290 and was third in rebounds with a career-high 91. For his career, Savage averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
"Noah made the most of his time with us this past season and played with a lot of confidence in our offense," the Franklin C. Cappon-Edward G. Green '40 head coach of Princeton basketball Sydney Johnson '97 said. "He loves to play the game and I know that the European game will suit him well. I'm very proud of him and couldn't be happier. "
Savage joins a handful of former Tigers who are playing in Europe, including Italian league members Mason Rocca '00 and Judson Wallace '05.
