Davis, Buczak Talk About Playing in Summer Leagues
November 06, 2009 | Men's Basketball
Douglas Davis and Pawel Buczak, Princeton's two All-Ivy League honorees from last season, played in summer basketball leagues in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. this summer, running the floor against fellow collegians and NBA players.
Davis, a sophomore in 2009-10, burst onto the scene with a 25-point debut against Central Michigan last Nov. 14. One year later, he'll have another chance against the Chippewas when the Tigers open the season there next Saturday.
Buczak made a big contribution in his junior year, co-leading the team in rebounding while playing in 25 games with nine starts. That came after Buczak had played in only one game between his first two seasons.
